What is the One Stop Business Counter?

The One Stop Business Counter is a meeting point to facilitate the process of setting up your business.

At the One Stop Business Counter, you will find a team of experts that will process your papers and provide you with information and advice that is customised to your needs and the maturity of your business project, thus helping to clarify all your doubts with personalized attention.

The One Stop Business Counter helps you through the different stages of setting up your company, from defining the project to the final start up.

Guidance and Services available

  • Paper work: Tax Authorities, Social Security and Regional Government.
  • PAIT point: On-line creation of the New Limited Company (SLNE).
  • PIC point: At the Survey Information Point, the Offices of the Central Government offers certified access to the information of the Virtual Survey Office in the VUE offices.
  • Certification of Company Name: From the Central Companies’ Registry, through the Chamber of Commerce.
  • Administrative information and guidance: On registries, permits, licenses and authorisations from local bodies depending on the activity in question. By appointment.
  • Business Guidance: Thanks to the broad cover of the Chamber of Commerce’s Business Start Up Services, entrepreneurs can make an appointment to seek guidance about:
    1. General and specific paperwork
    2. Information about legal forms and contracts
    3. Information about Financing and Grants
    4. Tax and book-keeping obligations and forms of employment contracts
    5. Franchises
    6. Business feasibility

Emprendemos Juntos es una iniciativa del Ministerio de Industria, Turismo y Comercio, a través de la Dirección General de Política de la PYME (DGPYME), para fomentar la iniciativa emprendedora, apoyar la creación de empresas, preferentemente innovadoras, y transmitir a los jóvenes la idea de que llevar a término una iniciativa propia, a través de una empresa, es un reto personal estimulante y una oportunidad de empleo.

La Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria organiza el VI Foro de Empleo Universitario, que tendrá lugar los días 11 y 12 de marzo, en la explanada de la Facultad de Ciencias Jurídicas (Campus de Tafira). El Foro proporciona a los estudiantes su primer contacto con el mundo laboral y dar salidas profesionales a los jóvenes universitarios, especialmente a los alumnos de los últimos cursos
22/05/2008 Celebración del Día del Emprendedor 2008 en Canarias
El Gobierno de Canarias, a través de la Dirección General de Promoción Económica de la Consejería de Economía y Hacienda y con la colaboración de la DGPYME del Ministerio de Industria celebró el Día del Emprendedor de Canarias 2008. Dicho evento tuvo lugar el día 8 de mayo en Las Palmas de Gran Canaria y el día 9 de mayo en Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
